Not only did my students get to interact and learn from a professional artist within our community, but they were able to explore a new art form. We also created textured polymer clay landscapes in which students were able to apply their previous knowledge and skills of landscape artworks.\r\nProviding new and engaging materials and projects for my students in my opinion is invaluable in their art education. They were even more thrilled when they learned how we would be using the Legos in an unconventional way to create a printmaking project.\r\n\r\nPrintmaking with Legos has given students the confidence to begin the project since Legos are something familiar to their everyday life.
