STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education is an important and growing part of our children’s educational experience. It provides students with real life, hands on experiences that are cross-curricular and engaging. STEM allows for children to be innovative and creative. As a primary teacher, I believe that I must create a solid foundation for STEM education. The materials I am asking for are all building based and will be used in my classroom in various STEM lessons. They will provide my students with a variety of hands on materials that they will use together to complete STEM challenges. Not only will this foster STEM education, but also teamwork.
