When I got the news that my project was fully funded within a week, I cried from relief.\r\nMy students are not fully able to share, but they love using the science centers, and they are the most motivated to share with them because it's such a novel concept to most of them. I have had the motion center and the wildlife cameras out since I got them, and my students are not showing any sign of getting bored of them.\r\nWith the other items, I rotate them out so the kids can explore and experiment to see what the new option allows them to do, and it gets them out of their seat and sharing with each other what they see. They are having full conversations about subjects like magnetism, color theory, and movement with each other, and showing other kids how to get the same result as them.","fullyFundedDate":1784754306544,"projectUrl":"project/steam-activities-for-kindergarten-center/10346303/","projectTitle":"STEAM Activities for Kindergarten Centers","teacherDisplayName":"Mx. A favorite moment happened recently during a post-reading group brain break. My students are normally full of chatty energy at that time, so I decided to channel that excitement with our new conversation dice. Their eyes lit up when they saw them! Rolling the dice and taking turns answering questions was a joyful, hands-on way for them to practice reading, listening, and speaking while learning more about one another.\r\n\r\nUp next, we're diving into The Kid's Book of Friends: How to Make Friends and Be a Friend, which came as part of our kit. I'm so excited to lead a dedicated lesson on building positive friendships using this wonderful book.
