Digital resources from Teachers Pay Teachers help me create differentiated activities that meet students at their individual learning levels while making reading, writing, and social studies more exciting and accessible.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts for my students is the variety and interactivity these new materials bring to our classroom. Students love colorful, hands-on activities, collaborative learning opportunities, and incentives that make them feel successful and motivated. Even simple tools like highlighters, Post-it Notes, and sensory supports make students feel more confident and involved in their learning process. The fidget tools and straw toppers are especially exciting because students immediately recognize them as supports designed to help them succeed and stay focused.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who struggle with attention, anxiety, or staying engaged during independent work have especially benefited from these supports. Students who often become restless during writing or reading activities are better able to regulate themselves and remain on task when given access to sensory tools. I have also seen reluctant writers become more willing to revise and participate when using interactive editing tools like sticky notes and highlighters during peer review activities.\r\n\r\nOverall, these resources help create a classroom environment where students feel supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
