My students have loved being able to bring joy to the teachers they see around the building. They are overjoyed every Thursday when the cash register and snacks and drinks are brought out. Our assistant principal even helped to make them feel like they were operating a true store front by making them name tags to wear. \r\nEvery Thursday, students get a new job; they are either going to be the cashier, bagger, stocker, loss prevention, customer service, and door dasher. Students jobs involve counting the money, bagging the items, grabbing the items from the back to put in the bags, putting stickers on the bags to ensure nothing falls out, greeting the teachers by knocking on the doors, and pushing the cart to the classrooms around the school. Students get payed in classroom community money for performing their job.
