Many of our students go straight from a full day of classes into practices, games, and workouts. Having access to snacks has helped them stay energized, focused, and ready to give their best effort.\r\n\r\nMore importantly, your support shows our athletes that people believe in them. It reminds them that their hard work matters and that they have a community behind them cheering them on. That encouragement builds confidence, strengthens team culture, and helps create a positive environment where our students can thrive.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of all of our athletes and coaches at Edison, thank you for making an impact. Your kindness is fueling more than just bodies—it's fueling motivation, teamwork, and pride.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for you!\r\n\r\nWith appreciation,\r\nEdison Athletics\r\n\r\nIf you want, I can tweak the tone (more formal, more energetic, or more personal with a specific story or athlete moment).","fullyFundedDate":1769733710938,"projectUrl":"project/coach-merrills-snack-pantry/9808593/","projectTitle":"Coach Merrill’s Snack Pantry","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Merrill","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8432110_orig.jpg?crop=869,869,x85,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1651167099505","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8432110"},{"teacherId":10419356,"projectId":10062138,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom! Because of your generosity, my students have been able to get hands-on experience in our Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries class. We've been using the new materials to practice skills like taping, wrapping, and splinting, and it has enhanced how they learn. They were problem-solving, communicating, and actually applying what we've been learning, just like real athletic trainers would. I enjoy watching my students work through mock injury scenario in groups and collaborating. \r\n\r\nWhen I told my classes that we had a donor fund our supplies, they were so excited to finally be able to use real materials instead of just reading and learning about how to care for athletes. It made everything feel more real and meaningful to them. Students who are usually quiet in class became more engaged and eager to participate, and it was great to see them confidently using the materials and getting involved.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we're going to keep building on these skills with more advanced rehab and return-to-play activities. Students will start creating their own injury response plans and thinking more critically about how to safely help an athlete recover. Your support has made our classroom more interactive, more engaging, and honestly just more fun.
