Now they are able to reading the new and missing books. \r\n\r\nMy students are not good readers. Most of the students do not like to read. They want to read books that look similar to books their peers are reading, instead of what they call baby books, the books that are at their reading level. The Desmond Cole books are written at an easier level, but they do not look as if they are. The students enjoy reading them and they do not feel embarrassed about reading them. They are practicing their reading and they are talking about what they are reading.
