Adverse Childhood Experiences have been linked to •risky health behaviors, •chronic health conditions, •low life potential, and early death. As the number of ACEs increases, so does the risk for these outcomes. Positive social-emotional learning experiences will help protect and enrich the lives of my students. We can't control the past, but we can do our best to help shape the future. It is my hope that all students feel accepted, valued and cared for when they spend time in my office at Edison Elementary School. Although their time here as students is short, it is my intention to have a lifelong impact.

About my class
