In chemistry, we are using materials that allow students to observe chemical reactions and discuss how interactions depend on valence electrons. In anatomy, students can physically examine models of the skull, pelvis/spine, foot, and other structures to better understand how bones, joints, muscles, and tendons connect and function. The project materials list also included tools like pH strips and additional STEM modeling resources, which expand what students can test, manipulate, and discuss.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our students and making real-world science learning possible.","fullyFundedDate":1764016041190,"projectUrl":"project/stem-supplies-for-science/9851263/","projectTitle":"STEM Supplies for Science","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Episcopo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp419856_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1575906836857","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/419856"},{"teacherId":8428630,"projectId":9799595,"letterContent":"I provided my students with necessary toiletries. We use them during our daily skill blocks for finishing, small-sided games, and quick decision-making activities that mirror real match situations. One of our favorite moments so far was watching a group of beginners complete their first full 3v3 futsal match — something that simply wasn't possible before because we did not have regulation-size goals. For the first time, they were able to play a complete game with proper spacing, real scoring, and structured rotations, which immediately elevated both their confidence and their level of play.\r\nWhen the goals were first set up, students literally ran over to them. They immediately started organizing teams, asking to stay after class, and challenging each other to small games. Even students who are normally hesitant to participate became eager to play because the environment now feels more like a real game instead of a drill. Several of them commented that they finally felt like \"real players,\" and that sense of pride and ownership has translated directly into better attendance, stronger effort, and a more positive classroom culture.\r\nThe next steps for our students include using the futsal goals as part of our technical development unit focused on ball control, quick passing, and finishing under pressure. We are also preparing for small-sided futsal tournaments within our program to promote teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Because of your generosity, our students now have access to a safer, more engaging, and more authentic training environment — and that impact will continue for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1758219350578,"projectUrl":"project/lets-score-some-goals/9656699/","projectTitle":"Let's Score Some Goals!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Puga","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6834478_orig.png?crop=959,959,x1071,y205&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762000526175","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6834478"},{"teacherId":419856,"projectId":9649433,"letterContent":"Thank you for supporting this project. Those small supports go a long way in keeping students engaged and able to participate. The snacks and protein bars help us keep students focused when hunger shows up at the wrong time. The batteries will be used constantly in physics, chemistry, and IPC labs, and the dried mealworms help us take care of our campus chickens, which are part of several students' daily routines.\r\n\r\nYour donation removes a lot of small barriers that add up over time. It has been amazing to see how quickly they've taken to the practice—some students even remind me when it's \"yoga time!\"\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a student who typically struggles with transitions join the group and stay engaged through an entire yoga session for the first time.
