With all of the new items from Sanitation Station making their way to my classroom, I have seen an increase in a few things: Use of tissues in the classroom to blow noses ( instead of leaving the classroom to go the bathroom and use toilet paper), Class jobs to help keep our classroom sanitized and clean (students are lining up and volunteering for these jobs!), and absolute gratitude for being able to keep a clean and organized environment. \r\n\r\nI can honestly say I have SMELLED and SEEN the difference. We allow students to eat breakfast in the classrooms in the mornings, so of course there is some food trash, spills and stains. However, we as a class have collectively been putting more effort into cleaning after ourselves. I see so much less mess on student desks and students advocating to clean their areas! We are becoming more conscious of our impact to the environment and are putting in the effort to be sanitary. I love seeing our little community come together for this initiative!\r\n\r\nWe intend to use the materials bought from this project for the rest of the school year and continue with our class jobs as well as our community efforts.
