Technology is an important part of learning today. Students must interact with more technology than in years past in order to be equipped for the real-world. Many of my students do not have access to things such as tablets at home. Tablets provide an endless supply of quality apps that students can use to practice reading and math skills. These apps are highly engaging to students and provide individualized learning that helps them become better problem solvers and deeper thinkers. The use of tablets would also allow the teachers in the room to have more focus on their small groups during math and reading so that students can be pushed even further.
