The students were so excited when they saw the new carpet in our classroom. Everyone couldn't fit on the old rug, and this one is large enough to have a space for everyone. We use the rug constantly - for morning meeting, for extra math support, to play card games during indoor recess, for independent reading, and the list goes on. A large, high quality carpet is a necessity in an elementary classroom, and this one will serve fourth grade students for years to come.\r\n\r\nThe drawers are also highly necessary! The tables in our classroom are quite small for four people and all of their materials, so having multiple sets of drawers at each table is helping the students keep track of their materials. Also, instead of just stashing everything in their cubbies or on the floor, the drawers are helping some of my students learn to be more organized and the power of teamwork. Students have to share drawers with 1-2 other students, and are responsible for putting their materials in the correct spot. It is still a work in progress, but these executive functioning skills will be so important as the students move into middle and high school.\r\n\r\nThank you for your generosity and support of our community!","fullyFundedDate":1787418840555,"projectUrl":"project/an-inviting-and-orderly-classroom-enviro/10349507/","projectTitle":"An Inviting and Orderly Classroom Environment","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp370331_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692565433445","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/elizabeth-jones"},{"teacherId":370331,"projectId":10349664,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your support of my classroom.
