It allows access to educational apps, videos, and digital textbooks that cater to different learning styles. Students can practice skills through games, collaborate on projects, and receive immediate feedback, which supports deeper understanding and keeps them motivated.\r\n\r\nStudents are especially excited about the iPad's touch screen and multimedia capabilities. They enjoy using it to create digital art, record videos, and explore interactive lessons. The portability means they can learn anywhere in the classroom, making learning feel more dynamic and fun.\r\n\r\nStudents who struggle with traditional print materials or have special learning needs often benefit greatly from the iPad. For example, students with reading difficulties can use text-to-speech features, and those who are more visual or kinesthetic learners engage more fully through interactive apps. It has also helped shy or reluctant learners participate more confidently in class activities.","fullyFundedDate":1761656616856,"projectUrl":"project/an-apple-ipad-today-keeps-illiteracy-at/9688284/","projectTitle":"An Apple iPad Today Keeps Illiteracy at Bay","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Parada","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9492989_orig.png?crop=314,314,x13,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1717426532208","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9492989"},{"teacherId":9414313,"projectId":9301140,"letterContent":"The materials donated were used in order to make tie-dyed tshirts as an end of the year project for our preschoolers. Each student got a chance to make a shirt that is as unique as they are and as colorful as each of their personalities. \r\nThe students were excited as most of them have never made clothing before. Once the shirts were dyed, washed, and dry, the students signed all of the other shirts. Then as a class we wore them for our graduation ceremony and students got to keep them as part of their end of year gift. This was an exciting activity for our class and something we hope they will cherish as they get older. \r\n\r\nThe other materials were used to help keep our classroom clean and healthy. Tissues helped combat spring allergies and the swiffer cloths helped keep our room germ free. Thank you so much for helping our students and giving them an experience they may not have outside the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746633604323,"projectUrl":"project/relax-clean-and-celebrate/9301140/","projectTitle":"Relax, Clean, and Celebrate!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hoffmann","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9414313_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1715023099156","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9414313"},{"teacherId":9529979,"projectId":9147155,"letterContent":"I am truly grateful to DonorsChoose for helping me create a classroom that is clean, organized, and welcoming. With the new materials and organization systems in place, my students can now access what they need quickly and easily. They can take charge of their learning materials, move smoothly into centers, and transition with confidence.
