I am a Pre-K teacher in a low income school. My students are 4 and 5 year old children. Our funds are extremely limited and there is no money for luxury items like a color printer! I teach economically disadvantaged students. Pre k is constantly in need to print things for our students and their parents. A color printer will produce images that will grab the attention of my students who are visual learners and learn best through pictures. My printer is very old and does not have much life left. My pictures are now coming out blurry. Students are no longer able to see what was printed. My students are learning to use technology and are very eager to learn. They always ask, "Can I print it out?" when a project is finished. My students love learning. We need a color printer and ink so students can print completed work and pictures to help them get a better understanding of the world. They would feel encouraged with colorful pictures and printed work from a color printer. Your help will make it possible for my students to continue to grow academically! A color printer will help my current students and my students in the years to come.
