Stories like \"Pop\" and \"The Back-to-School Backpack\" will bring out the giggles as our students adjust to the big world of school.\r\n\r\n In addition to all the books, my project included hundreds of reward stickers, sticker charts, and small prizes to motivate my students in my Reading Intervention program. We've also used the art supplies you helped purchase to paint watercolor snowy backgrounds for snowmen, make bracelets, and experiment with crayons and watercolor resist. \r\nNot only does art provide a chance for creativity and self expression, but it is really helping that fine motor skills of my students. While we do a variety of motor skills building activities during the day, art has a way of really motivating and engaging students. It's also been a great way to build students' ability to follow directions and improve listening skills. \r\nI have so many plans to use the materials for future projects such as building bead and pipe cleaner people and experimenting with painting paper with a variety of materials.
