My students only get to do traditional band instruments after school on Mondays and Wednesdays and that's only if they are able to stay late. As with most things related to music the budget for our after school band program was severely cut this year making it difficult to have back up supplies. \r\n\r\nOn thing that get damaged the most is the ligatures on clarinets and saxophones. They aren't make of the most sturdy metal and in the hands of 4th and 5th graders they tend to get bent or the screws get lost. You can only bend them back so many times before they just fully break so having extras of those has been super helpful this year! It has also been nice to have extra cleaning swabs and thumb rests for the clarinets. I was also able to switch out some of the saxophone neck straps to something with a little more comfort and support! \r\n\r\nThank you again so much for supporting my students.
