Students didn't have to run up to the front office to get tissues. We could clean up after labs. We have working markers for board work, among other organizational materials you helped provide. It may not be glamorous, but having these basics in place makes a big difference in how smoothly the class runs and how comfortable students feel.\r\n\r\nThese supplies support our daily routines and help keep the focus on learning chemistry rather than managing logistics. To explore these ideas, they create. They spend time designing posters, visual projects, and collaborative displays that help them think critically and express their perspectives. Whether they are building reading posters, annotating texts, or designing visuals that represent historical themes, having the right supplies allows them to move beyond worksheets and engage in hands-on, creative learning that brings their ideas to life.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students now have the tools they need to design and bring their thinking to life. I have a nice little library of novels that are high interest and offer voices and perspectives that fall outside of the mainstream, and your support has made this little library a whole lot bigger. We will continue to care for the supplies given as time passes.\r\n\r\nSpecifically, the mobile whiteboard has been great to use with my co-teacher. He can along with students work on both sides of the whiteboard to be really engaged. We have had kids race against each other to see who can get the correct answer first. It has been wonderful to see students work in groups together to solve problems. They all appreciate having brand new expo markers because they can clearly see their work. \r\n\r\nThe way my classroom now looks with the college pennants and bean bag chairs is exactly what I imagined, cozy. I love that students can sit and talk and work on math with such ease because they are more relaxed. Some students even choose to use the lap boards to work while lounging on chairs.
