"All the world is a laboratory to the inquiring mind." - Martin H. Fisher. My students are inquisitive and curious, asking questions beyond the information presented in their text. Learning through text can only take them so far. I want them to gain an understanding and appreciation for all life, and what better way than for them to dive into the content thorough hands on experience. We are a charter school that serves a low socio-economic area of Los Angeles. Our student makeup is 90% Hispanic first-generation college students. Our school culture emphasizes the importance of an education, this means providing students experiences that will allow them to thrive in college.
