Our students have greatly benefited from these resources. \r\nThe initiative has integrated mental health games and stress reduction tools as core components. Student participation has risen, demonstrating authentic engagement in skill development through peer interaction. The resources were additionally employed in one-on-one sessions with students. The students used fidgets as a way to calm themselves and create a relaxing atmosphere in the office. These mental health activities have proven to be an effective method for strengthening student relationships while simultaneously fostering socioemotional growth. I have been leveraging these games to support students with individualized education programs (IEPs) during counseling sessions. Utilizing these resources, I have been able to create more effective interventions and provide students with a wider variety of activities designed to improve their social-emotional skills and mental well-being. \r\nGoing forward, these resources will remain integral to our sustained commitment to mental health and well-being. I will guide students in developing personalized self-care plans to manage stress, leveraging provided resources including games and fidgets as supplemental support. In January 2025, the implementation of group sessions for students will commence, incorporating games and stress-relieving resources to address values, boundaries, trust, positive identity development, empathy, and self-regulation through discussion and practical exercises. \r\nYour donation has positively shifted how my students approach their mental health and learning. We are grateful for your assistance in fostering a supportive, calm, and thriving environment for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1724015901634,"projectUrl":"project/mental-health-initiative/8626562/","projectTitle":"Mental Health Initiative","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rodrigues","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9275690_orig.png?crop=272,272,x5,y9&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1694632808717","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9275690"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_46303","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1183,"numTeachers":99,"percentFrplEligible":68,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":27,"percentWhite":11,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":54,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"11.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":73.1,"schoolId":46303,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Chamberlain Senior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Chamberlain Senior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/hillsborough-county-public-school-district/chamberlain-senior-high-school/46303"}
