They enjoy working together on the Promethean Board and competing as teams while reinforcing what they have learned. In addition, each topic includes an outstanding introductory video that captures their attention and prepares them for learning.\r\nAnother feature I greatly appreciate is the collection of accompanying activity pages. These activities help reinforce concepts and enhance student learning in a fun and meaningful way. The dance breaks are another favorite. My students look forward to them, and they enthusiastically participate every time. In fact, you can see them enjoying one of these dance breaks in the pictures.\r\nBeyond the current issue, students have access to an extensive library of magazines from previous years. They have become very skilled at independently exploring related topics, searching for additional magazines, games, and videos that connect to their interests. Many of my students are especially fascinated by animals and are eager to learn everything they can about them.\r\nOne magazine that generated tremendous excitement was Monster Pumpkin. Students were amazed to learn how farmer Seamons grows pumpkins that look like monsters by placing them into molds when they are small. As the pumpkins grow, they take on the shape of the mold and transform into incredible creations. This story sparked their imaginations, and many students enthusiastically shared that they wanted to become farmers and try growing pumpkins the same way.\r\nThank you again for providing my students with such an enriching experience. I have also found them helping one another too.\r\n\r\nThe writing folders have enabled them to begin to understand the writing process and organize their writing pieces into the various stages.\r\n\r\nThe interactive journals have proven to be an engaging way for students to strengthen their phonics skills. The writing prompt journals during center time have encouraged them to respond to fun and interesting prompts.
