The bilingual students will read the chapter book, Todas Para Una, in Spanish together as a class. They will answer text-related questions and engage in class discussions. They will complete other activities related to the book such as creating posters and bookmarks. They will also respond to what they have read in writing. In order to expand their Spanish vocabulary, the students will also keep a notebook for vocabulary and translations. The teacher will acquaint students with useful translation tools. This experience will help the student to not only maintain their first language but reinforce their knowledge through reading and writing.
