Copy paper is an essential supply in our classroom after the children have experienced learning through hands-on developmental reading/math centers. Once centers are completed, the children will then work on pencil and paper activities to reinforce concepts learned. By donating to this project, my students will be able to practice these essential reading, writing and math skills at school and home so they will be able to effectively communicate their thinking. This paper will also give my children their very own copy of a shared reading book which they will practice reading daily. Students who have the opportunity to practice these fundamental skills will build confidence in these skills and continue to develop as learners.
