Because of your donation we were able to purchase the items to get our game back going. \r\n\r\nYour donation also purchased additional items that allows our 9 -square in the air game to be used in different ways! We can know attach hula hoops that our younger students can use as a target. Our older students use the hoops attached as a throwing game and competition. It has expanded the use of the 9-square frame and that's always a good thing.\r\n\r\nYour contribution affected all 530 students at our school. Thank you from each of them! When we are finished with this project, students will be able to take the plant home with them to continue to watch it grow. \r\n I'm so excited for this STEM project for these students. We are going to explore seeds growing in different environments. We will even have a hydroponic system growing in the classroom. These specialty pieces allow them to use innovation and creativity to create motorized builds that can be coded to their own specifications. \r\nOur team will be going to a First Lego League Expo to showcase what they have built and will be judged on how well they were able to code their motorized parts. My students learned how to build and motorize different models using the Spike kit pieces. Once they were able to make the models work, they took the knowledge from those models and applied it to their own build. They could have never completed this without the Spike kit you helped purchase!
