My third grade students are like little sponges ready to soak up all the knowledge they can! They sincerely desire to learn, perform well, and love to share the wealth of information they receive! They currently are interested in non-fiction texts, especially biographies and world records. I hear my name called on a daily basis as students want to share an exciting fact they've learned in their books. Our school is a Title 1 school, with which comes a large responsibility to make sure that each student has had exposure to not only reading, but various genres of literature as well.
