It started out as something that confused me, and I hated it because I felt like I couldn't do it. Despite this I kept working—even when I kept messing up—I was too busy learning, to even care about failures. Every time something went wrong, I got to think of new ways my ROV could work. I really enjoyed being able to work on something that I struggle with. Just looking at the notes I took while building the ROV, you can see my growth—from being overwhelmed and frustrated to genuinely enjoying the process. It was fun when I failed. Instead of making me want to give up, every obstacle motivated me. I loved being able to learn, revise, fail, and start the process again. Even though it ultimately didn't work the way I hoped, I had a great time getting it to this point. I don't think this essay is as academic as it could be, but I feel it depicts my development through this assignment fairly well.
