The arduinos I requested were out of stock, so I used the funds to get a 3D printer for my robotics class. This have already been such a help in my robotics classes! We did a project where we used Arduinos, a circuitboard, and servo motors to create mini robotics arms. My students and I were able to print out parts to use as part of this project including bases and claws for the robotics arms. \r\nMy robotics class is now moving onto a unit for Vex robotics. I received these kits second hand from a previous teacher and there were several parts that were missing. I was able to go in and 3D print the missing parts so that my class could still use these kits. My students and I will continue to use the 3D printer to make custom parts for the Vex robots so the students can increase their creativity as they learn these real world skills. My students are so excited for to have 3D printers for the class so they can bring their ideas to life. These RGB lights are easy for students to learn and give them so many options fo the looks of their photos. Students immediately jumped in to using all the different settings and the looks of their photos has improved dramatically. We have been able to explore how light impacts the composition, mood, and style of their photographs.\r\nThese lights have given students new creative possibilities for their photos, which is extremely important because of the limited nature of taking photographs in a school environment. My students have been able to learn about the importance of lighting in photography, and how professional photographers use lighting. This has helped students get real-world experience with their photography class. In a CTE class, giving students career ready skills is a large part of our mission.
