Thanks to the science resources you provided, we have transformed an extra classroom into a fully functioning science lab—something our school has never had before. All students in grades 1–5 now complete biweekly science projects using the new equipment, and their excitement has been inspiring. Many of our students experienced hands-on experiments for the very first time, and during the first week in the lab their enthusiasm was overwhelming. Students now ask eagerly for opportunities to do extra experiments, and teachers regularly incorporate the lab into their lessons as enrichment to the science textbook and curriculum.\r\n The science lab has also become a vital support space for our Fifth grade students, who meet before and after school for additional help as they prepare for the State Science Test. Their performance on this exam determines progression to middle school and contributes to our school's letter grade in the state of Florida, making this support especially important. We are proud to report that student test scores across all grades are higher than ever, showing an average 20% progress monitoring learning gain compared to the same time last year. This remarkable growth is a testament to the power of learning by \"doing\" and \"experimenting,\" which helps students retain information more effectively and develop stronger critical and logical thinking skills in science. When the students first saw the boxes, their faces lit up—there were audible gasps of excitement, and many immediately started organizing their new materials with a heightened sense of ownership and pride.\r\n\r\nWe are actively using the new resources every day. For example, during our recent \"Community Helpers\" and \"International Night\" units, we used the fresh paper and quality markers for a collaborative mural project that required every student to contribute illustrations. Previously, students would have had to share worn-out supplies, but now, everyone has their own set of high-quality tools, leading to richer, more detailed, and fully engaged group work. The sanitation products are also keeping our learning environment healthy and focused.\r\n\r\nNow that we have successfully completed our mural, the next step for our students is to write persuasive letters to local community leaders, using their beautifully illustrated mural as a visual aid to advocate for a new playground. The new 3D printing resources you helped fund have transformed our classroom into a true design lab where students can bring their ideas to life. Many of my students are already familiar with technology at home, but they had never experienced tools like these that allow for hands-on creation, problem-solving, and iterative design. Now, they are building models, testing prototypes, and learning real engineering skills in a way that makes abstract concepts suddenly click.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students has been watching their digital designs appear layer by layer on the printer. There's something magical about seeing a sketch they created on a screen turn into an object they can hold, examine, and improve. Several students who are usually quiet or unsure of themselves have truly opened up because of this project. One student in particular, who rarely participated in class discussions, is now one of our most eager designers—often staying after class to refine his models and help classmates troubleshoot their own.\r\n\r\nYour support has given my students confidence, creativity, and a genuine love of learning. Before, our items were scattered on tables, which made it difficult for customers to browse and appreciate all the work our students put into their projects. Now, with everything neatly arranged and visible, our display not only attracts more attention but also encourages students to take pride in presenting their work.\r\n\r\nThe first time the students saw the rack set up, they immediately began brainstorming how to group items by theme, color, or price. They loved arranging the shelves and hooks themselves, and many commented that it \"looks like a real store now!\" This sense of ownership has motivated them to create even more high-quality products, knowing they will be displayed beautifully. They're realizing that what they design on the computer can become a tangible, detailed object in a matter of hours. This instant connection between imagination and reality has sparked more creative risk-taking and collaboration than ever before.\r\n\r\nOne student who was hesitant to join the club at first now comes in early just to check on her prints.
