Our Science standards focus around the unit on light - being able to observe and explain how light travels in a straight line. In the past I have been able to show a quick demonstration using a spray mist bottle (which only lasts a few seconds). Your donations were able to provide our class with an amazing experience of seeing light travel in a straight line as it seems invisible but the fog machine was proof! The class was able to participate in the demonstration with their own group laser pointers. \r\nIn the past, our classes have only been able to observe as I model the use of Light energy flow but now all students were able to participate in their own group investigation.\r\n\r\nThrough your donations, this year my 5th grade scientists were all able to enjoy the experience of light energy!\r\n\r\nThank you again for your thoughtfulness.
