The hand chimes will serve as an attention getter when a teacher or student would like to share a positive comment about a fellow hero. These Hero Calls (shout outs) will help to further nurture and extend our culture of kindness. At our school we encourage students to recognize each other when they are exhibiting positive character traits and following our school's expectations. Students are celebrated when they display grit, determination, empathy, or growth mindset. This recognition helps maintain a positive classroom climate & sense of community. Staff members can also utilize the hand chimes to encourage mindfulness in their classrooms.
