These magazines will increase my students' interest in reading. Balanced Literacy is a key part of our routine that scholars enjoy very much. Giving my students the opportunity to have their own magazines will definitively improve their reading skills and help them become independent readers. Scholars enjoy reading about current events happening around the world. These magazines will be the perfect match for their curious minds. With these magazines, my students will be able to learn from a variety of genres available for them at their grade level. They will also be able to choose articles and stories of their interest. This is the best way to increase reading fluency and comprehension. My students have already grown so much this school year. I believe this project will help them develop more as independent readers and help them close any gap they may have due to remote learning.
