Because of your generosity, my students will have the opportunity to experience writing in a completely new and exciting way.\r\n\r\nThis project will allow students to move beyond simply reading stories and instead create their own through writing, sculpting, animation, and collaboration. Using the materials you helped provide, students will design characters, build settings, and bring their stories to life frame by frame through stop motion animation.\r\n\r\nThe excitement in the classroom has already been incredible. Students are especially thrilled about being able to create something hands-on and truly original. Many of them have never worked with animation tools before, and they are excited to see how their ideas can transform into short films they can share with their classmates and families.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding parts of projects like this will be seeing students who may struggle in traditional classroom settings find confidence and success through creativity. Some of my quieter students and reluctant writers have already shown so much enthusiasm for the artistic and visual storytelling aspects of this project. It will give them another way to express themselves and connect with learning.\r\n\r\nYour support will help create a classroom environment where students feel inspired, creative, and proud of their work. We've received 9 new over-ear microphone sets to go with our wireless body-pack system. These headsets will be used by special speakers, performing arts directors, and student performers.\r\n\r\nThe group who will use these the most is our Drama students. When they put on a play or musical, they wear wireless mic transmitters so they can move freely--allowing them to fully embody their character and move around the stage without having to account for microphone placement.\r\n\r\nOver the years, we've found that these headsets, with comfortable over-ear placement, are the most secure, and the most easily adjusted headsets.
