Students are our future and we have amazing students! The books that are listed are to help build a classroom library so the students can access materials more freely. Novel studies open the door to new thoughts and ideas. The Pickers help support an interactive way of getting student feedback in a fun way that helps increase student engagement. In today's world many of our students are unsure of how to be an adult. They need the support from those who have walked the path of adulthood and bring them the skills that they will need in order to be a thriving adult. Through the creation of resumes to the skills needed to prepare a meal, we accomplish all of this in our semester long course in TSW. Students leave us having the tools to accomplish adult task such as knowing how to interview and what is needed, how to care for themselves, an idea of the expenses they will have along with having an idea of what they would like to pursue as a career (not just a job).
