Students earn Dojo points by scoring 80% or higher on their reading comprehension quizzes and by completing vocabulary lessons. They save their points throughout the month and can redeem them for rewards on the first of each month. The chips, which cost 200 points, have become the most sought-after incentive. Thanks to this system, I've seen a marked increase in student focus, effort, and comprehension scores.\r\nBeyond academic improvements, these positive incentives have also fostered a more supportive and attentive classroom environment. I award points not only for academic achievements but also for behaviors like staying on task, helping peers, and showing perseverance. This approach has significantly reduced disruptions and encouraged students to take pride in their work and behavior. Their faces lit up with pride and excitement as they realized their effort was recognized, and it sparked collaboration, friendly competition, and even a little healthy problem-solving.\r\n\r\nWhen our students first saw the new materials, their reactions were priceless—wide eyes, smiles, and an eagerness to participate in ways we haven't seen before. These simple rewards—a fun pen, a sports ball, or a game—make a big difference in helping students feel motivated, valued, and engaged.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're continuing to integrate the incentive store into daily classroom life.
