This project made an immediate impact on both our learning environment and our daily routines. The students immediately noticed and loved the calming effect of the light covers. They have helped make our classroom feel more comfortable and peaceful throughout the day. Our new vacuum has also cut our cleaning time in half, making it so much easier to keep our classroom clean and ready for learning.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited about the stickers and loved seeing them on their papers and choosing their favorites. The math manipulatives have already been put to good use as well. We now have enough hundred flats for every student to have their own while practicing place value. Everyone can participate and learn hands-on at the same time without having to share or take turns.\r\n\r\nI am incredibly grateful for your generosity and for providing items that make our classroom calmer, cleaner, and more engaging. Each part of this project has already made a difference in our classroom, and these are resources we will continue to enjoy and use throughout the school year. These manipulatives allow them to see problems and words in a variety of ways which helps these students benefit from learning a broad view of the skills they are learning. I have a student who is using the letter sounds to create words which will help them to eventually be able to to read words. The ability to use the numbers to add and subtract in a variety of ways also enables my students to begin to understand mathematical problems. \r\n Your generosity is helping learners to focus! (The fidget toys are a great asset in this process!)
