I know we will use these tools for years to come. For this year, I wanted to share how you energized my students and their learning. I saw it on their faces the minute I told them that outside donors from Donor's Choose invested in them and their learning. \r\n\r\nThis Friday a small group of seniors in a Math Concepts class will walk to our \"4th Street Live\" entertainment district downtown. Usually seniors are able to eat lunch off-campus during this time. This group is excited to take the tools to find the measurements they need to measure the landmark 4th Street Live sign in a Similarity and Trigonometry application. I know it is a huge success because students outside of my class have come up to talk to me about the project.
