Another student created a door sign for her grandma that said \"I heart U\". Students have designed trophies and door signs for teachers as well. With the new podcast microphones, boom arms, headphones, and the Elgato game capture device, our student-led Eagles Nest Podcast feels like a real studio. Students walk in and immediately light up when they see the setup. They're learning how to plan content, manage audio, record with confidence, and collaborate like a real production team. Most had never used equipment like this before, and now they're running it like pros.\r\n\r\nEven beyond the podcast, this project has changed the energy in our space. One student who barely spoke in class is now the go-to person for mic checks and recording. Another said the headphones made them feel like a real YouTuber. The dartboard and mini basketball hoop have also added positive energy and fun to our room. Students earn time on them through good behavior and teamwork, which helps reinforce structure in a way that still feels joyful.
