The kidney table will allow me to have students meet in small groups and provide intervention of skills they need. Once I assess my students, I will put the students in groups. I will use the table to meet with children who are struggling with the same skills. I will teach mini lessons to the students. Students will learn how to write letters, they will learn vowels, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, shapes, addition, subtraction, and much more in these small groups at the kidney table. The carpet gives the students a place to sit, listen , share stories, and draw pictures. The carpet will allow students the opportunity to come together, learn a new skill, talk and share about experiences they have at school, home, birthday parties, field trips, and much more.
