Many of my students benefit from movement during their learning, and these chairs give them a way to move while staying engaged in lessons. From independent reading to small-group work, students are using the wobble chairs to focus, regulate their energy, and participate more confidently in class.\r\n\r\nWhen the wobble chairs arrived, students were immediately excited and eager to try them out. I've noticed an increase in on-task behavior, improved stamina during work time, and fewer distractions for students who typically struggle to sit still for long periods. Having flexible seating options helps create an inclusive environment where students feel supported and understood rather than corrected for how their bodies work.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these wobble chairs will remain a regular part of our classroom routines as students rotate through flexible seating options that best meet their needs. Your support has helped create a classroom that values comfort, movement, and accessibility, and your generosity will benefit many students for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1760734557074,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-usbe-ai-for-k12-educ/9620282/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating - USBE AI for K–12 Education","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Elliott","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2907561_orig.png?crop=989,989,x0,y56&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1612327297434","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/samelliott"},{"teacherId":2907561,"projectId":6845290,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our classroom has been transformed into a place where students not only learn but also feel cared for. The shelf-stable food and hygiene items you provided have met such a critical need. For many of my students, simply knowing they can grab something to eat when they're hungry or access basic essentials without worry has lifted an invisible weight from their shoulders. They are calmer, more focused, and better able to engage in learning because their basic needs are no longer standing in the way.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the students' reactions were unforgettable. Several expressed relief that they wouldn't have to sit through class with growling stomachs anymore, and others quietly confided how grateful they were to have access to items they otherwise struggle to get at home. For them, it wasn't just about food or hygiene—it was about dignity, security, and knowing that someone out there cared enough to help.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has rippled far beyond the classroom walls. By meeting these core needs, you've helped my students believe that they matter and that they deserve to succeed. This project is not only filling cupboards—it's fueling confidence, hope, and a stronger foundation for learning. On behalf of my students and myself, thank you for making such a real and lasting difference.","fullyFundedDate":1670977325197,"projectUrl":"project/core-needs-closet/6845290/","projectTitle":"Core Needs Closet","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Elliott","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2907561_orig.png?crop=989,989,x0,y56&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1612327297434","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/samelliott"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_32949","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1639,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":37,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":84,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"10 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":59.0,"schoolId":32949,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Box Elder High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Box Elder High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/box-elder-school-district/box-elder-high-school/32949"}
