I have chosen a selection of high-interest and graphic novel books for my special education classroom. These books will help make struggling readers want to read. High-interest books can change a student's attitude toward reading, learning, and school. Books with pictures can support visual learners who are reluctant to read. Books and reading are the foundation of learning in all areas, so I want to help my students learn to love books! They will have more success in school and in their communities when their reading improves. The more they read, the more they will want to read!
