Students now choose seating that helps them focus, which has improved participation and comfort during journaling and group work.\r\n\r\nThe supplies brought so much excitement. When students saw the new journals and fresh pencils, they immediately began flipping through the pages, eager to write. We used them during a recent health lesson where students reflected on stress management and personal goal setting. The room was quiet in the best way possible, filled with thoughtful writing and genuine reflection. The new drug bingo game has quickly become a favorite. We used it to review key vocabulary in our substance use unit, and the energy was incredible. Students were engaged, competitive, and most importantly, learning. The prize box and small toys have added an extra layer of motivation and positive reinforcement that keeps students striving to do their best.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue using the journals as part of our ongoing health modules, especially as we move into lessons on decision-making and healthy habits.
