I am requesting new books for my classroom library to help foster my students love of learning. Students are eager to be back in the classroom and have access to new materials. Students are asked to read a book of their choice and expanding my classroom library will allow students to have access to even more novels. Students will be able to borrow books to take home and enjoy. I am also requesting highlighters to assist students in finding text evidence in the articles and stories that we read. Highlighters help students to visually find information to include in their written responses. I am requesting pencils as well to have available for students to use. Additionally, I am asking for two tables and stools that would give students more room and space to work within the classroom and provide additional types of sitting areas. Lastly, I am asking for a small table for my keyboard and mouse that is connected to my board. This would allow me to move around the classroom easier and assist students.
