All of my students today were so surprised and excited to see it as they entered the room. It really warms up the space and I was so happy to not hear anyone pulling at the Velcro from the carpet spots I used previously! Even the 5th graders were excited and said it reminded them of kindergarten. I was able to sit my kinder - second grade classes in new seating charts today and it was a great way to reset before we enter the final weeks of school. Several of my students from the SLC classroom were especially delighted by the carpet. One girl rubbed it for almost the entire lesson! \r\n\r\nStudents, of course, wanted to know how I had acquired such a nice carpet and it was so great to see their faces when I told them the total price tag and that it was only possible through donations from our community. They were so touched that in some cases a \"stranger\" would be thinking of them. Thank you for your generous donation for me and my students. Your thoughtful contribution has made a meaningful difference in the daily learning environment for my students. These seats have not only provided comfort, but also created a more flexible and inclusive space where children feel supported and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe floor seats have quickly become an essential part of our classroom routine. They allow students to sit safely and comfortably during table activities, work times, and collaborative learning moments. For many of my students, having a defined and cozy space helps them stay focused, engaged, and confident. It has also encouraged better posture and independence, which are so important at this early stage of development.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has had a direct and positive impact on my students' learning experience, and I truly appreciate your support of our classroom. My students were ecstatic to see them when they came into the classroom. It is such a novel experience to sit in them compared to sitting on the hard, traditional blue chairs that we all probably remember from our school days. \r\n\r\nThe chairs were a great behavior incentive in the spring. Groups of students earned points for listening and following directions and then the successful teams were guaranteed time in the chairs. Many students came in during the first week of school this week wanting to know if \"we were going to use the green chairs this year.\" I plan to use them for all students and make sure everyone gets a chance to sit in them this fall. \r\n\r\nThanks for supporting my students, me, and my school.
