The students have been having such great fun will all the materials that allow them to play sports in a better and complete way. As a teacher is is great to see our students play sports such as Volleyball, Soccer and Football the the proper equipment and find an enthusiasm for sports. \r\n\r\nOur students here at the school also wanted to send out a thank you on their part. They were excited to see new equipment arrive at the school and asked how I relieved it. My students love the new guitars. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and giving them access to music. Our students are very creative and love to express themselves but there were not a lot of options for them because of a lack of resources and funding. Thankfully, you donors stepped in and helped us reach our goal. Now, our students are able to learn the basics of guitar to use their creativity in a positive way. \r\nCurrently, our students are learning strumming patterns, guitar string notes, basic chords, strumming patterns, and simple songs. The students look forward to our music Mondays when we do our official whole class lessons. During the rest of the week, they are able to independently practice for the last 30 minutes a day. A few of my students are really progressing and showing a real passion for learning and playing the guitar. They were able to pick it up really quickly. \r\nWe will be forever grateful for your gift. A lot of our students are high risk and classified as emotionally disturbed. This means they might have some type of disability or trauma in their past that makes it difficult for them to participate in a regular education classroom. The fact that they are so engaged in our music lessons, enjoy it, and are showing progress is a big success!
