Your support has made a tangible difference in my students' lives, and I'm thrilled to share the impact you've helped create.\r\n\r\nSince receiving your donation, we've invested in targeted practice tests, resume-building workshops, financial literacy templates for budgeting practice, and many other resources—all designed to build student confidence and real-world skills. Students are using these materials not just to practice problems, but to understand why answers are correct and to identify patterns in their thinking. I've watched students apply these strategies during practice tests and real exams, and they're noticeably more focused and less anxious. What's most exciting is that students are beginning to see these tools as life skills they can use anywhere—in college, at work, or whenever they face a challenging situation.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, the college and career resources have transformed how our first-generation students think about their futures. Instead of college feeling like a distant, confusing goal, students now have concrete pathways and actionable next steps. I've seen shy students light up when they discover a career that excites them, and I've watched families become engaged in conversations about postsecondary options. Several students have already started reaching out to colleges and exploring scholarship opportunities—something many wouldn't have considered without these resources.\r\n\r\nYour investment in these materials isn't just about test scores; it's about unlocking potential and building the confidence our students need to pursue their dreams. Thank you for believing in them.","fullyFundedDate":1770074144100,"projectUrl":"project/college-career-success-avid-course/10076213/","projectTitle":"College & Career Success: AVID Course","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Veloz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10425845"},{"teacherId":7172526,"projectId":9191530,"letterContent":"I can't describe how much this project has meant to my students and me. After their weekly library visit they bring their checked out books to the shelves of the reading center and then enjoy their own selections as well as their classmates.
