My classroom is filled with motivated, ambitious, and passionate students who are ready to learn everyday. Each one of my students are unique and different, with some speaking another language and others having varying exceptionalities. Fourth grade is an important year academically as well as socially for my students. This year they are learning and practicing how to properly and effectively collaborate with one another. We practice this by working in small groups and with partners to interpret reading concepts. The skill of collaboration will help them succeed not only in the school setting but in life. Our mission is to nurture, guide, and challenge all of our students to achieve their maximum potential. My school is a Title One school with the majority of students receiving free and reduced lunch. We are a community school which fosters the love of learning.
