Our students were so excited when they saw that they would each get their own soccer ball. Our school already have some soccer balls that we've been able to use, but each student being able to practice at home is invaluable.\r\nFor our soccer enrichment camp, we try to balance teaching the students about the game but also making sure it's all about having fun and teamwork. Being a high poverty community, something as seemingly basic as a soccer ball can be a difficult ask for parents. Not only do the students feel special, but they also get to bring with them a momento from their time at Glickman Elementary.\r\nNow that everyone has their own ball, we can really vary the different drills during our practices. A student favorite is the classic juggling competition. Seeing the enjoyment on the students faces is so rewarding.
