Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The bench, rocks for painting, and stepping stones will help make the space look appealing and inviting for students to go and refocus their minds. The Zen Garden will be a space where the students can mediate, read books on how to manage emotions and friendships, and prepare themselves to get back into the classroom and ready with their minds reset and ready to continue learning. There are benefits for students having a space like this. For example, the Zen Garden space can help students decrease their stress levels, create a positive environment, and improve focus and moods.
