Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students have been through a lot these past Covid Years. Lots of time was spent on computers and distance learning. Now it is time to come back to the classroom. Our school has invested in classroom sets of LEGO Spike Prime Robotics and Sphero Spark robots. I would like students to program these resources using the most up to date Windows OS. As their STEAM and Robotics teacher I am finding that the building technology is not able to keep up with our new robotics resources.
Students need fast enough computers to run their LEGO and Sphero robots.
Without the appropriate technology students tend to get frustrated with designing and programing for robotics. We need to program quickly and troubleshoot that programing with faster more reliable computers. With the Windows OS we will get the opportunity to use the programing platform we need to be successful engineers.
