There are many different tools that are available for them to use to help regulate their emotions and help keep their bodies safe at school.\r\nWhen I added one of these weighted stuffed animals to the safe space, I noticed students gravitating to it for a quick cuddle, a hug, or even to hold while looking at books. I even have a student who has started to carry it around the classroom with calm purpose where he used to run or wander.
