We are a science classroom that serves over 650 students throughout the week. I teach science to students kindergarten through fourth grade and serve an after school population of 4-8th graders. The majority of our classroom and student resources are now being channeled to close the achievement gap in our high poverty school. What we are requesting are hands on resources that help accelerate the curriculum thus enabling our gifted and talented students to benefit from high interest, science and literacy focused, multimedia based learning opportunities.
