My Students

My students never fail to amaze me. They are very excitable and love to participate in hands-on activities in our library. I love to get them thinking and working together on projects in order to learn new concepts.

I am new to the library media center this year, and I hope to make our space a more 21st-century environment.

We come from a very low socioeconomic region and these do not often have as many opportunities as students in other parts of our state. I hope to use the library to establish lovers of reading, life-long learners, and to motivate my students to believe in themselves and recognize their full potential.

My Project

We are welcoming the year 2022 with open books in our library. With that being said we are checking out books like crazy and this librarian is loving it! However, it is due time for new, more age appropriate books.

Students are more mature and are ready for Young Adult level books in our middle school library.

I have chosen some of the top YA books of 2022 to add to our collection. I would love to have these titles available to our students but we need your help!
